DAY 1: NAIROBI – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

On your arrival to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our company representatives for meet and greet services. Alternatively, we can pick you up from Nairobi hotel early in the morning. You will then be driven north to Samburu National Reserve to arrive in good time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy’s zebra gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephants and lions. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at your lodge in Samburu reserve.

DAY 2: FULL DAY IN SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya’s giraffe species – the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also, where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Samburu National Reserve.

DAY 3: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

After breakfast from the lodge, you will be driven through the scenic beautiful plantation in the central region of Mount Kenya. We have a glimpse view of Kenya before arriving at our Camp, Sweetwaters, or similar in Olpejeta Conservancy in time for lunch which will be followed by an afternoon game drive in the wilderness. This is the only place in Kenya to see the chimps. It is also known for its famous efforts to protect the white Northern and Southern Rhinos, they also help conserve and protect big cats, elephants, and communities too. DAY 4: OL PEJETA – ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast from the lodge, you will check out game en-route as you drive to Aberdares National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at the base hotel. There shall be moments of relaxation as you enjoy your wildlife viewing from the balcony of your lodge in the afternoon and in the evening. Dinner & overnight at the lodge.

DAY 5: ABERDARES – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Early in the morning, you will be driven to Lake Nakuru National Park. On the way, you will stop at Thompson falls standing 74 meters high on Ewaso Narok River. Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley’s most famous lake, Lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingos, it is alkaline and is recognized as being one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times, there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. You will arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

DAY 6: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast from the lodge, you will make your way to Masai Mara Game Reserve. We will drive via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras and attendant predators. We will proceed and arrive at camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: EXPLORE MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Full day is spent in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. You will have the opportunity of spotting the BIG FIVE including lion, elephant, leopard, black rhino and buffalo. You will visit the Mara River which nearly boarders Kenya and Tanzania. You will have a chance of seeing Hippos and very large Nile Crocodiles, who lay in wait for a prey as wildebeest crosses on their annual quest to find new pastures.
Each year Masai Mara plays host to the world greatest natural spectacle, the Great Migration of wildebeest from Serengeti National Park, Tanzania To Masai Mara, Kenya. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life giving grass in the north brings more than 1.3 million wildebeest together into a single massive herd. They pour across the border into the Mara making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon. At the Mara River they mass together on the banks before finally plunging forward through the raging waters, creating a frenzy as they fight against swift currents and waiting crocodiles.

DAY 8: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI

Early morning game drive at sunrise followed by breakfast at the lodge/camp. We depart Amboseli National Park viewing game en-route as you exit the park with the last picturesque of Amboseli. We drive back to Nairobi arriving Nairobi in the afternoon. You will be dropped at either your hotel or airport to connect with your home bound flight depending on the arrangements where the safari ends.
