9 Days Kenya Tanzania wildlife safari is a criss-cross safari border along the beautiful African countries that are rich in the big five wild animals, plenty of birds and you get to discover the Authentic African culture. You visit Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru for the bird watching safari followed by Masai Mara and Serengeti National Parks for the great migration and the big five animals as you wrap your safari with the scenic drives at the largest world crater.

DAY 1: NAIROBI – LAKE NAIVASHA

Upon your arrival to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our company Representatives, briefed and then driven to Lake Naivasha. You will have stop at the view point of the Great Rift Valley to see its formation. Proceed to Lake Naivasha arriving at the lodge for lunch. lunch, you will have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy an activity of your choice such as a boat ride in the lake, birding, hippo watching, horse riding (at an extra cost). Alternatively, you may just relax at the lodge and swim in the pool to beat the day’s heat. Dinner and overnight in Naivasha Sopa Resort.

DAY 2: LAKE NAIVASHA – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast from the hotel, you will be driven to Lake Nakuru National Park. Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley’s most famous lake, Lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it is alkaline and is recognized as being one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times, there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. You will arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

DAY 3: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast from the hotel, you will make your way to Masai Mara Game Reserve. We will drive via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras and attendant predators. We will proceed and arrive at camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA (DISTANCE: 145/3.30HRS DRIVE)After breakfast, we will start our day with a morning game drive in Serengeti then later take a short pleasant drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area, The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Ngorongoro was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. It also safeguards the interests of indigenous people and promotes tourism. In the evening drive to the lodge for evening leisure and overnight.

DAY 4: EXPLORE MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Full day is spent in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. You will have the opportunity of spotting the BIG FIVE including lion, elephant, leopard, black rhino and buffalo. You will visit the Mara River which nearly boarders Kenya and Tanzania. You will have a chance of seeing Hippos and very large Nile Crocodiles, who lay in wait for a prey as wildebeest crosses on their annual quest to find new pastures.
Each year Masai Mara plays host to the world greatest natural spectacle, the Great Migration of wildebeest from Serengeti National Park, Tanzania To Masai Mara, Kenya. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life giving grass in the north brings more than 1.3 million wildebeest together into a single massive herd. They pour across the border into the Mara making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon. At the Mara River they mass together on the banks before finally plunging forward through the raging waters, creating a frenzy as they fight against swift currents and waiting crocodiles.

DAY 5: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE – SERENGETI NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast at your camp in the morning, we shall check out with a packed lunch from your camp. Afterwards, a three-hour drive takes you to the Tanzanian border at Isebania. You will arrive at the border at about 10:45 a.m. More to that, it will take 45 minutes or more to process your visa and move into Tanzania. Afterwards, you will travel to the Serengeti. Arrive late in the afternoon at our lodge, we will have en-route game drive as soon as we enter the park till we reach our lodge. Dinner and overnight at our lodge.

DAY 6: FULL DAY SERENGETI

Breakfast is served in the early morning at your lodge. After tea, depart with a packed lunch for a full day of game viewing. The Serengeti National Park is without a doubt Tanzania’s most beautiful national park. In addition, throughout the year, you can see huge herds of buffalo, elephants, and giraffes as well as millions of antelopes such as elands, topis, impalas, kongonis, and Grant’s gazelles, and many more. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the three big cats quickly. Interestingly, lions are often seen celebrating a kill or sleeping. If you’re fortunate, you could see cheetahs in the Southeastern plains. Conversely, leopards rest in the giant trees. Return to our lodge later in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER

Early morning breakfast, after breakfast proceed to Ngoro Ngoro. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is a huge volcanic caldera that hosts a great impressive ecosystem ideal for the survival and preservation of a large diversity of animals. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is a world heritage site and is commonly referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. Afternoon game drive until dusk. Return back to the lodge at sunset.

DAY 8: NGORONGORO CRATER

You will wake up early, an opportunity to enjoy your final drive in the park after which you will return to the camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out and continue with your safari heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. The main feature here is the astounding Ngorongoro Crater which is famous for being the largest inactive and intact volcanic caldera in the whole world. The crater is a result of a major explosion and collapse about 2 to 3 million years ago and was officially hailed as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in 2015

DAY 9: NGORONGORO – ARUSHA

Depending on the flight schedule, we wake up very early in the morning and drive through the Ngorongoro crater conservation area. Our eyes will always be busy throughout the drive with more game to view en route. We stop briefly at the crater viewpoint for an aerial view of the crater. Then, we continue with our drive to Arusha to catch up with our late afternoon flight back home.
