EXPLORE NAIROBI
On your arrival to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our company representatives for meet and greet services. Alternatively, we can pick you up from Nairobi hotel early in the morning. We then depart for Nairobi National Park city tour which was established in 1946. It is 117 square km that comprise of migratory wild animals.
Within a short time, we will see how unique this special reserve is. We will have an opportunity to see lion, rhino, giraffe, buffalo, impala, topi, cheetah, hyena, zebra and many more species of wild birds. The annual East Africa migration of wildebeest and zebra moves over the wide-open grassy plains, past acacia bush and through the corridor during the seasonal rain.
Kifaru Ark; Kifaru is Kiswahili for rhinoceros and the park supports the largest population of endangered black rhinos in Kenya. Appropriately, the park has earned the nickname Kifaru Ark. As the population of rhinos here continues to grow, the park has become a source of the endangered species, supplying them to other parks around the country.
We will proceed to the walking nature trails for a nature walk to the hippo pool to view immense creatures and possibly crocodile as well. As we follow these trails and wildlife tracks on our safari, we’ll be looking to spot white and black rhino, leopard, lion, zebras, cheetah, buffalo and more.
Continue to the Ivory Burning Monument. Here at this historic spot tons of ivory seized from poachers have been publicly burned to protest the ivory trade and as a commitment to protect the country’s elephants.
Finally, we drive back to the hotel or airport for drop off
